Last year, more than 24 lakh candidates filled out the NEET UG 2025 application form. Out of which, around 10 lakh candidates were male, more than 13 lakh candidates were female, and 8 candidates were from third gender.
Kolkata: National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the NEET UG 2025 registration. Individuals can now complete the application process online via the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. The deadline for submitting the NEET 2025 application forms and paying the application fee is 11:50 pm on March 7.

The NEET UG 2025 exam is scheduled for May 4, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) and will last for 180 minutes (3 hours). In 2024, 16.85% more candidates filled out the NEET UG application form as compared to 2023.

Ans. For NEET 2025, you must be:
• Indian (or NRI, OCI, PIO, or foreign national).
• 17 years old (born on or before December 31, 2008) by December 31, 2025. No upper age restriction.
• Passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotech, and English.
• Scored at least 50% (General), 45% (Reserved), or 40% (Other Reserved) in your qualifying exams.
Ans. The NEET 2025 exam consists of four subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Each subject carries 45 questions, contributing to a total of 180 questions in the exam. Each question is worth 4 marks, bringing the total possible score to 720.
